Picnic Fun

Pumpkin had a class picnic on Saturday.  And, they posted some pictures.  What a treat!

Hard to believe that today is his last day as a teenager!  Time is flying!

Welcome Back!

The new semester starts with a PFE, physical performance evaluation.  This was on Monday and it looks a bit sticky in the track.  They have to do push ups, sit ups and run.  The assistant swim coach did some filming while Pumpkin was tackling the sit ups.  He was trying to stay focused and not laugh!

Day 5

One week of school down!  Homework started off with a bang.  Peanut likes his classes so far...

Junior Year is Off...

On Day 1, Monday, August 10th, Peanut willing smiled for the camera.

 On Day 2, I caught him coming down the steps and was not able to snap another picture.

 On Day 3, I had to quick grab this one as he filled his water bottle.

I wonder if I'll be able to snap one on Day 4!

At the Helm

Got this pic from Pumpkin yesterday.

David's dad owned a Thistle sailboat.  They raced on a local lake.  Winds were unpredictable and lots of times it was just so darn hot.  It did not matter, John thoroughly enjoyed it.  The Big Guy was touched by this picture wishing he could share the pride with his dad.  Unfortunately, after John's TBI, the communication is not the same.  Very grateful for Pumpkin sharing this pic.  We haven't heard from him too much on this trip.  It is so tough sitting here and not really knowing what he is doing or where he is.  Not to mention we don't know all the lingo.  I guess he is conditioning us for the fleet.  Anyway, this photo hit the spot.

Date Night

We celebrated our anniversary a few months late.  On our anniversary, I got tickets to Harry Connick Jr.  He came into town last week.  Such an enjoyable concert.  He is so talented and very entertaining.  We have to go out more often!
