I snapped this picture at dinner before the Grizzlies game back in the winter. Pumpkin had not graduated yet. Peanut's hair was not very long yet. Some days it hits me and all I think about is those boys of mine!

Roasted Veggies
One of my very favorite dinners, roasted veggies. Flavored olive oil, salt and pepper. Yum!
We tried cauliflower rice last week. Wow! It is wild how close to rice it really is!
Sunflowers Post Sunset
We went out to dinner at The Kitchen on Tuesday night. The food , the setting and the company were lovely. We were thrilled to see the restaurant was so busy on a Tuesday night. The plan was to eat and go see the sunflowers for sunset.
We were a few minutes late just missing the sun going below the horizon. The fields of sunflowers are lovely. Now, we just need practice getting the selfie thing down!

No Cover
I forgot how much my oldest used this blog to keep up with what was going on. Now, that Peanut is at CGA, I need to give this blog a valiant effort. I assume Peanut will find value in reading about what's going on here.
Yesterday there was a treat. There were pictures of Peanut. He looks good. He is four weeks in and three more to go. I hope the weather holds out. I hope he finds the fun in all of it. I hope he is forging friends for a lifetime.
I can't wait to see him! Labor Day come on!!!
When one forgets their cover, they all go without their real covers. Team work at its finest!

Thirty Years!
I met the Big Guy 30 years ago tonight. Goodness gracious! It's been a wonderful ride. Looking forward to many more - if we survive this empty nest thing. LOL!

Jude is a Cheerleader
We took Jude with us to Peanut's soccer game on Thursday night. She did great! She got the best hugs at halftime. And, they won!!

Panther Relays
Track season is underway. Due to forecasted weather, the meet was condensed to Friday night. It was very windy, but fun to watch Peanut run.
Look! He is flying. Both feet are off the ground!
This was in between races. Gotta love the wind blown look!

Hello, Princess
This six month old puppy dog, Jude, is a princess. She routinely makes herself comfy on the couch. Who can say no to that face? She is a breath of fresh air in this house. Most of the time, she wants to cuddle. You have to watch out when she is full of energy!! Fortunately, that does not last long.

Hello, Spring! Hello, Blog!!
Last week at Shelby Farms. It was a bit chilly
I am going to make an effort to revitalize this blog space. It dawned on me that the boys could use it to stay in touch. It is hard to believe we have one senior in college and one senior in high school. As they spread their wings and fly, I am going to use this space to keep them updated on what we are doing. Let's only hope we can find things to do!
High school spring break was last week. Our travel plans to the NE were cancelled due to winter storm, Stella. How dare she?? Anyway, we made the best of it. This morning was tough when the alarm went off so early. But, we are on the downward slope of this high school thing. We are just going to enjoy every morning.
