A major milestone in a 4/c's year at the Academy is passing Boards. The cadet recites the mission and is asked a few questions which he must pass with an 80%. We got the call last week that Pumpkin had passed! Here is the Big Guy telling Buddy.
We were happy and relieved for Pumpkin. We are learning. I am sure there is another milestone right down the pike! Once all of the class passes, the cadets get some more privileges. Ultimately, they will obtain sophomore status. There are days that seem very long and I still miss him, but can't believe how quickly this year is going by.

Yay! I am learning so much through your posts about his experiences at the Academy. I have SOOO much more respect for the cadets and for the graduates. Congrats to him!
