Hard to believe! Fifty two weeks ago today, we were flying into Hartford airport. Pumpkin was getting ready for the adventure of a lifetime. I was a nervous wreck. I'm thinking he was too. We did not talk about our nerves much. We've all grown over this past year. We miss him. But, we are still so, very, proud!
He is out to sea as I type this and we have zip, zero, no contact. It is tough. The countdown 'til he comes home makes it a bit easier.
