This last round of winter gave us rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow! It all started late Wednesday afternoon resulting in day 7 and day 8 off of school for Peanut. He and I went for a walk on Thursday about noon. The streets looked like they were hardly touched. We just don't have much equipment and the ice makes it a challenge. The temperature did not go about freezing and they got an additional day, today.
I was supposed to work today but got to opt in to stay home with Peanut. The Big Guy said the roads were worse this morning due to all the freezing. We did get to meet him for lunch which was a lovely treat!

When you guys got this, we got nearly a foot! And Craig was supposed to fly home into Philly. So all three of us were out clearing the driveway which took 2 hours!!! They had closed all but one runway and then they closed that one and rerouted them to Harrisburg for an hour. I am seriously done with snow now! I can't believe how much you guys got down South!
