Replicas of the Nina and Pinta were docked in Memphis. We went to see them on Sunday. It was a glorious day. It felt like we were in San Francisco.
It is amazing how small these boats are. I can't even imagine crossing the Atlantic in such tight quarters. There is a current crew of 12 that were heading to Little Rock, AR after they left Memphis. It was interesting to see.

Wow, all this water! Now I really miss being near the ocean!!! This is really interesting-- just been reading more about Columbus and his trip and this was very timely!
