FMA Live

I have not been this excited about something educational in a long time! FMA Live just came to my son's middle school. It is a wonderful program put on by Honeywell and NASA for middle school students. You have to apply for the program, but it is free. The idea is to get kids interested in science. The stage and set up are amazing. Three cast members spend about an hour singing, dancing, hip-hopping and teaching about Newton's laws. I can't say enough about it! It was wonderful.

My son got selected to participate in the program. He helped illustrate the law of inertia. He donned a velcro suit and jumped into/onto a wall. They had a little competition with another student to see who could jump the highest. The jumps were fairly close, but Pumpkin pulled it off.

Pumpkin is in the red velcro suit getting introduced.

Here he is getting ready for the jump.

Stuck on the wall!

The winner is announced!
