What a Difference a Day Makes

Yesterday we woke to pouring down rain, but it was quite warm.
It rained all day.
Then, the wind picked up. It felt like the we were in Kansas with Dorothy!
There was a high wind warning through the night. And, the cold air rushed in.
The power went out at the pool and Pumpkin's swim practice got done early.
We lost power at 4 am for about a half hour. I slept through it until my hubby decided to turn on the light verifying the REAL time. He said that he was awake from the time it went off. I normally hear the CO detectors when the power goes, but last night I was sleeping like a baby:)
We awoke to clear skies but cold temps. Old man winter is still here. We have lots of branches to pick up in the backyard. Amazingly, there doesn't seem to be any other damage.

The sky was very intimidating. There were so many layers of dark clouds. The wind was swirling and the sun was trying to peak through as it set.

The pictures don't depict it all. The clouds were moving quickly, but were very omnipotent.

If you strain, you might see a bud on the crape myrtle. There are a few signs that spring is not that far away!

Your photos of the clouds are really neat... you can see the rolling wind in them! We've had strong winds all morning and are bracing for possible snow tomorrow night (when Craig flies home!!). But the sun is shining right now :)
